UV DTF works best on hard, smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, smooth metal, acrylic, ceramic, and smooth hard plastics.

UV DTF transfers will not adhere properly to textured, rough, porous, flexible, or uneven surfaces. This includes textured or rough powder-coated finishes. The application surface must be smooth enough for the adhesive to make full contact.

1. Prepare the surface. Spray a small amount of Windex onto a clean rag or paper towel. The cloth should be lightly damp—not soaked or dripping. Wipe the application area, then allow the surface to dry completely.
2. Remove the backing film. Before placing the transfer, separate and peel away the first layer starting from the side of the transfer, not a corner. Starting from the side makes the layers easier to separate.
3. Position the transfer. Carefully place the design onto the prepared surface.
4. Press firmly. Rub firmly across the entire design using your hands or a squeegee. Pay extra attention to small lettering, thin lines, and fine details.
5. Remove the carrier film. Once the transfer is firmly adhered, peel the top carrier film away starting from a corner and pull it back slowly at a low angle.
6. If anything lifts, stop. Lay the carrier film back down, press that area firmly again, and then continue peeling slowly.

Important: Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Avoid over-wetting the surface during preparation.
